Jamie Gallagher's many esteemed certifications include: American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, CrossFit Level One Certified Trainer, United States Weightlifting Level One Sports Performance Certification, CrossFit Level One Certified Mobility Instructor, CrossFit Level One Kettlebell Instructor.
"I'm Jamie Gallagher and my passion is training people of all fitness levels to reach their full potential. While serving in the United States Marine Corps, I learned that high-intensity functional fitness will lead to strength, endurance, and well-being. My goal is to provide life-long fitness to my clients to enable them to enjoy the activities they love to do, throughout their lifetimes. I accomplish this by designing individualized workouts that encompass core strength, mid-line stabilization, balance, body weight exercises, gymnastic movements, and different variations of cardio training.
While in the Marine Corps, I used this type of training to improve fitness for both Marines and civilians. While stationed in Okinawa, I commanded a platoon of Marines. After training them using this exercise philosophy for three months, each Marine's physical fitness test score improved by about 50%. Injuries declined even with the higher-intensity training plan.
At my next duty station, I volunteered to start and teach a functional fitness class to both civilians and Marines. The class had both highly trained Marines and civilian executives and clerks who wanted to shed a few pounds. My workouts are designed to scale for each athlete's fitness capacity, to meet each athlete where he or she is. All class members did the same exercises – just with different weight, or greater or fewer rounds of exercises to complete. I made individual modifications for each athlete, as needed, to work with mobility concerns due to prior injury or lifestyle. The athletes in my class elevated their exercise capacity through all measurable levels of fitness and commented on a better quality of life. Now that I am a civilian myself, I am bringing my experience and best practices to you. Together, we will build your foundation of fitness, achieve your athletic goals, and transform your life."

"My goal as a personal trainer is to listen to my client's goals and help create realistic short-term and long-term goals that he or she can reach. This will include a specific workout routine and diet that is appropriate for their body. Everyone's body is different, so a diet or program may work for one client but not be effective for another.
